Question about
Add more memory
The S10 can accept a 2GB DIMM to increase its memory. A lot of reviews will tell you it can only upgrade to 1.5GB since the motherboard has 512MB soldered on and the BIOS only supports 2GB total, but they're wrong. If you put in a 2GB stick you won't get the full 2.5GB that's actually installed but you will get full use of the 2GB that the BIOS can recognize.
At less than $20 for a 2GB chip (shop around), this is an easy upgrade that shouldn't be ignored.

Any PC5300 SODIMM memory will work. For example, Amazon currently has some for $25 www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000F7QRTG/ref=ox_ya_oh_...
If you shop around (Fry's, Newegg, etc), you should be able to find it cheaper.

I added an extra gigabyte to the onboard 512Mb, giving a healthy 1.5Gb. Got a nice deal on it as I recall through Dealnews and it even runs World of Warcraft pretty well with all the graphic settings turned low. Very pleased with this purchase even if the keyboard is very easy to fat-finger and you need the infamous Fn key to use the Home and End keys - which are indispensible when typing quickly.
