Question about
Actually my question is regarding about travelling. I wanted to post T-Mobile but it's not yet a tag selectable.
Anyways, I'd like to know if anyone knows the best way to solve this question:
I will be travelling to Vancouver only for 2 nights just to see if I should try thinking of doing a week vacation there. I'd like to know if I should unlock my phone and use the carriers there or just pay the 1MB=$10 data and $0.49/min with T-Mobile. It's only for two nights and I don't think I'll be calling that many people, though I'm sure data will slightly be intensive, but no movie files, just emails, browsing, and GPS.
Any recommendation? I know cheapest way is just to keep it off and enjoy the place but I need it to make sure for emergencies and mapping the place.

If you plan on using the maps you will likely end up using more data than you expect, so will probably cheaper to unlock and use a local data plan. I could certainly see a couple of days of decent Google Maps usage being pretty heavy on the data.
