Detailed review
The best camera you can have is the one you have with you. You'll have to go out of your way to find a reason not to carry this one. Now that I have my Panasonic LX3 with me most of the time, I find that I don't really need the Flip camera much any more... but it has enough going for it to throw it in a the car, or in my pocket the same way I would carry some sunglasses, or a can of Altoids. It's just so small, and durable.... slipping this into a coat pocket or in your vest in a natural. It does not shoot HD, and the sound quality is just ok..... but hey, my LX3 is just as sketchy with the Audio. I have several minutes of video of Alton Brown, because I had this camera with me when we got to meet him. I don't hesitate to give this camera to my 11 year old, and let him go shoot any video he can think of. For less than a hundred bucks, my kids are experimenting with something that even I, up to a few years ago, could only dream of. 2 years ago this was a dream.... now cel phones can match its quality, but time is kind to no-one, and this little camera is still holding its own... for a while longer.
