The design of the BackBeat 903+ means this headset won’t appeal to everyone and we do think the lack of multipoint support is disappointing. However, it is relatively comfortable to wear, produces decent audio quality and works well as a headset for making calls with your mobile phone. quote

The Plantronics BackBeat 903+ certainly has more features than its predecessor, but the rest of the design suffers from the same problems.

It can be a bit tricky getting the darn things hooked over your ears, but the light, rugged design of the Backbeats make them a good choice when you’re exercising at the gym or out running in the park. The audio quality is also very good, considering the current low price.

Considering the improvements in build, audio performance and usability over the headset it replaces, and the fact that Plantronics have kept the price at $99.99, we’re finding it tough to criticize the BackBeat 903+.

The sonics sound great when listening to music and although the audio quality on calls isn't entirely spot on, it isn't bad either. The headphones may not be perfect, but they do enable you to ditch the wires and to consolidate two essential products ... into one handy device.

In its design class, the Altec Lansing/Plantronics BackBeat 903 was the most comfortable stereo Bluetooth headset I’ve ever worn. The audio quality for both calls and music was superb. I liked how easily I could master the controls, without having to look at them.

Flexible and durable, great for commuters, does not interfere when wearing glasses. Occasional clipping of sound when turning head. Wish that lowest volume level could go lower (too loud at times).

I purchased the Backbeat 903 to use with my iPhone 4 for listening to music while running. I have been wanting to buy some bluetooth headphones for quite awhile and after reading what little I could find in the way of reviews I settled on these. I have not used them to make phone calls and as...

After buying an iPhone 3GS I needed to switch to a stereo headset in order to listen to music, podcasts etc. After two weeks with the Backbeat headset I have no complaints other than some reception issues that I attribute to the iPhone 3GS. Sound quality is great for music and podcasts and...

I purchased these so I could listen to podcasts and music via my Samsung Epic 4G while I'm mowing the lawn. While I didn't expect the same isolation I get from my Shure earbuds I was hoping the Backbeats would allow me to "cut the cord." No dice. I couldn't position them in my ears to get any...

This is my fourth set of stereo blue-tooth headphones and my favourite. I have previously owned the Sony DR-BT160, Plantronics Voyager 855 and Logitech Freepulse which are ranked in order of preference. While the BackBeat 903 does not plug the ear canal and sound isolate like the Sony DR-BT160, I...

Really enjoying these 'buds. They have a high-quality feel to them, with satisfying, clicky controls and solid construction. Pretty low-profile too, which was one of the major reasons I got them, because they don't have the over-the-top space alien look of other bluetooth models. Voice...

I use it with my iphone and it works great. It has to be charged everyday like my phone, but I just get in the habit of charging it at the same time. Other then that its pretty comfortable although it sometimes gets caught on my collar and it does fit so well with a hat.
