This is, as you can imagine, not convenient. I bought 3 extra batteries and carry them anytime I have the camera, again not convenient as now I have to carry a bag and not just the camera. The battery is smaller and is not keyed, so it can be put in backwards. This is annoying, because of the amount of times per day you have to replace it. Overall, I would rather have less features and more battery life.
