Superb picture quality and beautiful design place the Panasonic GT50 in the top tier of plasma TVs, but it's more expensive than others with similar performance.

Panasonic's GT50 plasma TVs fall midway between the company's high-end VT50 line and less expensive ST50, and offer picture quality and a range of features that are almost on par with the VT50, at a price that's roughly $350 less (for the 55-inch model). A class-leading plasma TV at an affordable price – at least compared to other high-end TVs – it's impossible to think of a better screen on which to watch both 2D and 3D Blu-ray.
