Attractive, functional design; generally above-average photo quality for its class; nice, useful feature set; lens can zoom during movie capture.

This camera combines just about everything into a relatively compact package. The big Leica-branded lens goes from wide 28mm to 280mm equivalent. I've used both ends of the range often, but I have to say the wide setting is a real winner for landscapes and tight indoor situations....

Hands down best feature: starry sky mode. Set the camera up at night, put in this mode, set the interval (15, 30 or 60 seconds) then sit back and wait. An absolutely beautiful night shot will emerge. Fun times to be had with that feature alone...
