I love my GF1, but there are two things bugging me at the moment that I could do with some advice on. Is it possible to take HDR style shots with the GF1, and does anyone know where I can find a good guide to learn now? Secondly, anyone in the UK found a decent supplier for lenses? It is my understanding that not all of the lenses for the GF2 will work with the GF1, so anyone know of an adaptor to use standard SLR lenses with the GF1 that works well?

I've had this camera for almost a year. Absolutely love it. Great substitute for a DSLR and reams of lenses.
Picture quality is amazing for a camera and lens this size. With Amazon selling it for $599, it's a no-brainer, unless you're waiting for the GF2.

I was looking all over the place for codecs to view raw images for my GF1 on Windows 7 and hit a ceiling because the codec that Panasonic currently has out is…
not compatible with 64-bit OSs. Microsoft has a listing of codecs here: http://www.microsoft.com/prophoto/downloads/codecs... Since Panasonic didn't have a codec working for 64-bit systems, I had to do this third party style and didn't have Photoshop installed, which most likely would have the codecs necessary to view these. I'm probably going to purchase that sometime soon. I searched around a bit and found this codec pack: http://www.fastpictureviewer.com/codecs/ I read a few...

I took the GF1 for a safari. We were in an open vehicle when the heavens opened & we got soaked. The GF1 was all wet.
I opened the battery compartment & water came out. I could see water in the LCD screen. I thought it was finished. I took the battery our, the SD card out, I opened all the doors & left it in a cool dry place.... for weeks. It's be 3 months now & it works fine. It's as if it never was wet. The pictures from the pancake lens are the best. I loved it so much I just bought one for my niece as a graduation present. She gets good grades & she's a bit of a photo nut.

7-14mm
I picked up the GF1 a few weeks ago and absolutely love it! I have only had prosumer and P&S cameras in the past, so this is a huge revelation. I wouldn't recommend anything less than the 20mm for a start. As my first lens (excluding kit), I'm looking to get the 7-14mm. Strangely, there are hardly any reviews out there for this. Anyone here with experience with it?

20mm or 14-45mm lens for the GF1
Hi all, My wife and I have decided that we are going to get the GF1 as a supplement to our ultra compact cybershot P&S. Either one of us is a photographer or much knowledge in cameras, but we figure the GF1 seems to be a great camera to start with. However, I am very much stuck between the two lens options for the GF1. It seems that the 20mm pancake lens is the popular choice based on stock availability. However, looking at the specs on the 2 lens it will seems the 14-45mm lens provide more...

Just received the GF1, you got questions, I have answers
I just freshly unboxed the GF1, if you have any questions I'll try to answer them to the best of my ability. This is the first dSLR quality camera that I have the pleasure of owning. I've only owned point and shoots, the Panasonic FX7 and the Canon SD850 IS, so I'm pretty much a n00b in this territory. I will be using it extensively this weekend and for the gdgt NYC launch event, so I'll have plenty of experience with it by the end of this week. As an FYI, I bought the bit with...

Panasonic DMC-GF1 or DMC-GH1?
I have to say that this micro four thirds camera looks pretty sweet. Finally they seem to have nailed the benefits of a DSLR sized sensor in a smaller form factor. The Olympus EP-1 had the cute retro styling going for it but I think this is by far and away the better photographers camera. The only question I have for those considering buying a micro four thirds camera is which would you choose between this and it's larger, 1080p, stereo audio recording big brother, the Panasonic Lumix...
