Panasonic has today announced the Lumix DMC-FZ28. The camera is the successor to the popular FZ18 and comes with a slightly increased resolution (10.1 vs 8.0 MP) and all the zoom range you could ever need, 18x (27-486mm, 35mm equivalent) opticaly stabilized, that can go even further with a very nice feature, ExtendedZoom, that can make photos with 32.1x with no quality degradation. Aside the great zoom and awesome lenses, it boasts tons of manual options to make photos looks like you really wanted them be and also the best auto mode available to date. A surely no-regret purchase.
