HP TouchPad Owners, Do you think you should have waited till the Amazon Kindle Fire was released?
I would just like to get the opinion of HP TouchPad Owners who went out and purchased a Touchpad during the firesale for $100-$150. Do you wish you would have waited for the Amazon Kindle Fire to be released? I just find it an intresting point to bring up. Yes the screen is smaller, but it has access to the Amazon cloud and a huge Android App store provided by Amazon. On another note if Amazon releases a Kindle Fire 10" for possibly around $299 would you have wished you held out for that? Just...

Does anyone that bought a TouchPad have any apps to suggest?
I realize that a number of us that bought an HP TouchPad are waiting to port Android in the near future, but in the meantime, would like to download some good WebOS apps. What do you suggest?

Now that HP's Touchpad firesale has put hundreds of thousands of WebOS tablets in consumer's hands, could it reinvigorate interest with developers?
Just wondering if a significant market injection like this, along with potentially licensing WebOS to other hardware developers, could be exactly what HP needs.

Anyone else thinking about buying an HP Palm TouchPad Foleo?
With TouchPads hitting $99 tomorrow, I am tempted to buy two of them and two cases, surgically attach them together, and create the greatest ever FrankenProduct that is the epitome of DOA - the HP Palm TouchPad Foleo!

Did webOS really ever have a chance to succeed in the mobile world?
It's sad news in the tech world today as HP kills of their tablet and smartphone development. Is this truly the end of webOS? A common meme I've seen over the past year or so with regard to webOS is that "it has a lot of potential." This is something numerous users, critics, colleagues, and even myself have said. It seemed to have a lot of legitimately great ideas, but suffered from extremely poor execution and marketing. It raises an interesting question though. Did webOS *really* ever have a...

Touchpad owners - are you planning to buy a new tablet?
In the wake of today's news: Do you think you would buy a new tablet? If so - what would it be? An iPad? An Android tabled? A Playbook? Other?

What does the Google purchase of Motorola mean for HP webOS?
If the other Android licensees no longer perceive that they will be treated fairly and openly by Google, will they explore other OS options? Everyone seems to think, yes, and they say Windows Phone 7 next, but what about webOS? I'd have to think HP's licensing terms might be better, with the imperative of growing the user base. Don't Samsung, LG, and most likely HTC, have to think about it - if for no other reason than to improve their bargaining position with Microsoft?

So I succumbed to the TouchPad discount, but I'm underwhelmed...
As the proud owner of a MacBook Pro, iPhone, and iPad 2, it's safe to say I love Apple products. But when people call me a fanboy, it ticks me off: I don't just like Apple products because I'm some brainwashed zombie; it's because I admire the elegance, design, breadth of apps, and focus on the user experience that their products embue. That being said, I'm always curious about the other products in the technology space... is this Android phone more likely to suit my needs? is there a better...

What's your favorite new mobile app?
Could be something that just came out or something that's new to you, just curious to hear what new apps you're digging right now. I think mine is HBO Go. I don't have cable, but got a relative to give me their Comcast password, so I was able to set up an account and start using it on my iPad and on the HTC Sensation. Works great on both, and I'm especially impressed by the quality of video when streaming over HSPA+ on the Sensation.

What is the smartphone with the best music audio quality?
I'm not what you would call an audiophile, but I spent some money on good earphones to go with my - decidedly great-sounding - Zune 120. However, I got tired of carrying around two devices, so I bought an iPhone 4. Don't get me wrong, the iPhone is a great phone, but I'm very disappointed with the sound quality - it lacks so much oomph! So, what do you think its the best sounding phone out there right now? I don't care if it's an Android, webOS or WP7 phone: I just want my phone to do my...

What is a 'smartphone power user'? (in response to the HP Veer reviews)
I've just finished reading the Ars Technica review of the HP Veer, the fourth review I've read (along with the engadget.com, precentral.net, and thisismynext.com reviews). Each reviewer, and countless commenters, keep claiming that the Veer is not a phone for a power user. I'd just like to get some opinions on what exactly a power user is, and why this perception exists. For the record, using my own definition, I consider myself a power user; more so than anyone else I personally know, and I use...

I've been hanging with Palm for a while now. Still rocking my original Pre minus on sprint. But seeing as how I haven't updated phones now in 2 yrs.
I'm starting to yearn for a new phone. Should I feel safe holding out for the Pre 3 to be released, whenever that will be, or should I just get an android phone? Some of the new OS announcements from google at their I/O are very tempting. What if i do hold out till July for the Pre 3? Is there a device that I should choose over it? Remember i'll be on Sprint and that's non negotiable considering how cheap they are for their family plans. All thoughts are appreciated. answer this...
Okay, I am getting seriously bored with my DROID, which I have had since the product launch.
I have envied the Pre Plus since the day of its announcement, and I wish I had waited for it badly. Today I went into a Verizon store and played with a Pre Plus for about an hour. I was so envious. At home, I searched on eBay for some Pre Plus unlocked deals, since I don't have a contract renewal open, and I will NOT pay $600 for this (technically) year and a half old phone. I found a Pre for about $70, expiring tomorrow, unlocked (meaning no contract required). I plan on buying an LTE...
