So much I miss from this OS that I wish was in the iOS devices. Would have gotten a WebOS but I'm pretty happy with the app market of the iPhone. Hope the hiring of Mr. R. Dellinger will bring a better notification UI than the one iOS passes off.

What to do with my Treo 650?
I've got an old Treo 650 sitting around and I'm not using it as a phone anymore. Besides TCPMP, Realplayer and pTunes, can anyone suggest some other apps worth installing on the device?

A Great Phone Once a Few Apps and a Cable are Installed...
I had my Treo 650 for many years, and it was a good little phone. I've since upgraded to the Blackberry Storm (which I think is superior in every way), but I did like my Treo. A few tips: 1) Install TCPMP on this phone right away, and put in an 8 GB SD card. You've now got a portable video and music player that will play back media with great quality. 2) The headphone jack breaks on this device rather often, and it's only easily fixed with a soldering iron once you take the phone...

Ode to an Old Smartphone
I bought my unlocked GSM Treo when they came out and still use it extensively every day five years later. Last year, it started having difficulties with sound and the microphone, but a quick disassembly and proper tightening-down brought it back to life. Yes, it is a bit long in the proverbial tooth, but you know what, this smartphone still does nearly everything I need it to do and it does it all well—except synchronize with my computer.
