Detailed review
If you are looking for a phone that is heavy on the business side (i.e., email, contacts, calendar, web browsing) and not as much emphasis on the personal side (i.e., MP3/Podcast/Movie player) then this is a truly amazing phone.
It's not that the personal aspects aren't good, they are, but the iPhone still takes top notch marks for that.
However, when it comes to business needs, this phone is top dog. The multitasking, while sometimes sluggish, beats any smartphone I currently have (including my iPhone) or have had (not a one of the Blackberry devices I have had comes close to this phone).
I've only had it since last week and can't help wonder how this thing might influence the market with it's multitasking. I expect to see copy-cats abound.
The downside for two-handed typers is that the keyboard is a little small, but it's perfect for those of use one-handed users. I seems like they really designed it for people that want to be able to use it one-handed with ease. It's fantastic.
The battery life is less than stellar and is why I didn't give it a 10. It seems worse than other phones in this respect. However, the ability to switch out the batter is a MAJOR plus.
Shopping for music and apps is easy and well thought out.
The music player is great, but the downside is the lack of a music manager like iTunes or Rhythmbox. Not a show stopper for me, but some could really be turned off by that.
Would also be nice to be able to expand the storage like on the Nokia N900. Frustrates me that so many companies are moving away from SD cards as an option.
Overall, this is my all time favorite phone.
