I give Palm credit for turning their head away from the design of the iPhone and going their own way. It's a small, sleek phone that fits easily in your pocket and never feels bulky. For those that like having a keyboard, Palm has a simple way to push the display forward to reveal the keypad.

What most people like about the Palm Pre is the ability to run and keep multiple apps open at the same time. This is particularly useful when you are typing an email but need to look up more information.

While it may not be an iPhone killer, it stands apart from those handset manufacturers that are just trying to create knock offs and should be judged by it's own design (which I happen to like). Hope this is helpful.
