overview
Palm Foleo was a "subnotebook computer" with a 10.4" screen and full-size keyboard, intended for release in the summer of 2007. Described as a smartphone companion, it was designed to connect to your Palm Treo over Bluetooth and offer email, calendars, and web browsing on a more comfortable form factor. Palm was criticized for neglecting their struggling smartphone business with Foleo. Even with units already boxed up and ready to ship, the product was cancelled at the last minute so the company could focus on building their next-generation platform — what would eventually become the Palm Pre and webOS.
