OnLive restructures and sells to a new group but can it survive?

Over the past couple days OnLive went through a form of bankruptcy, laid off half its staff, and was purchased by a new investment company who plans to retain the OnLive name. This is obviously a sign of a company who was struggling to find its footing in a market that is deeply dominated by consoles and mobile devices.
