I think this is the worst phone i've ever had... I got really disapointed from nokia or maybe it was just this unit.
Among all the problems I've had these are just a few: the gps sucks... and some functions just dont work, the strange need to reset the phone when I connected over USB on the computer, the left speaker just stop working without a reason, i wont sync music sometimes even WMP says otherwise ¬¬ and many other problems... thank God I'm getting a new one on august

My Nokia PC Suite just let me know that an update was available for my 5800. So far I can't tell any major differences but I'll update as I discover anything.

Caller ID not displayed
I would be very grateful for some help. My brand new 5800 does NOT display the caller ID image when the phone is called by a contact that I have associated with an image. I've tried placing the image on the phone rather than on the mem card but no success. All contacts are on the mem card not on the SIM as they are too many for the SIM. Please help if you can, many thanks.

Opera Mobile 10 - you NEED this browser!
www.opera.com/mobile Very much more functional and slicker than the Nokia brower, even the touch sensitivity appears to be improved. Pages load and render quickly, scrolling is easier with less mis-clicks. Have had some problems with out of memory errors on long pages, but then it is in beta at the moment.

We all know Nokia supports UDP (user data preservation) during installation. Advice is still to create a back-up before installation.

Caller id image
Just a quick question, is there a way to make the caller id image bigger when someone calls me? The photo I have is a decent size but whenever a friend calls, only a thumbnail version shows up on the call screen... Thanks!

Firmware 21.2.025 out now for North AMerican version
FYI, there is a new version of the firmware (21.2.025) out as of this week. I personally used the new Ovi Suite version 2 to do the update. Seems like it's very much worth the effort. No real new features from what I can tell, though it's a fair deal faster and more responsive. Free upgrades for the yay. I've used Fring for a long time, but lately I switched to nimbuzz : http://nimbuzz.com It really is much better. Skype calls get a better quality, UI is smoother and faster, more IM protocols availables, and always trying to innovate. If you've got a better one, tell me!

What apps/games?
Hey people just started on this site, so yeah, first post :) I have the 5800, had it for a month and a half now and I absolutely love it, I just wanted to find what other people have installed in the way of games and apps. So far I don't have much, a few games that I got from mobicreed, Im running the iphone dark theme too, further than that I've not really customised it much. What can people recommend?
