Am I the only one that finds iOS … dated? TL;DR:
I fully understand I will receive innumerable fan-[gender] of [iOS|Android] hate responses but I'm actually being serious. Money out of the picture, I've used iPhones on and off since they came out, but mainly Android (Nexus devices - N1, etc.) for the last few years and now I'm stuck between OSs and a hard place. I picked up a Nokia N9 running MeeGo (from Maemo, and now on to ... Tizen??) and …

Should I leave my Nokia N9 for Nokia Lumia 800?
I love my Nokia N9 .. it's amazing device with very good OS .. but I also love Windows Phone, and when I saw Lumia 800 I thought about replacing it. Some friends told me not to do so, because it would be considered a downgrade .. so I'm confused .. what you guys think?

Need help contemplating a possible Nokia N9 purchase.
So the price on the Nokia N9 on Ebay seems to have dropped significantly since the last time I checked. I've been following it and Meego for awhile now and it looks very enticing. Opinion?

So has anybody considered selling their N9 for a Lumia 800?
While I'm impressed that Nokia pulled a rabbit out of their hat with Meego Harmattan, I'm still looking at WinMo 7.5 and find it pretty appealing. Honestly I really just love the N9/Lumia 800 chassis and feel that WinMo 7.5 offers a slightly more polished interface and experience.

have you updated your N9 to the new software?
if so how is it working for you ? is it faster ,what new features are available in the new update? Just asking because I've heard that the new update messes up the camera.

can you run android apps on the N9?
I mean because I've heard of Alien dalvik does it even work? And if so can you download any android app or just selected ones?

Since we know that a WP7 version codenamed the Sea Ray is coming out, what advantages does Meego have over it (and Adroid too)?)

If your buying the N9, what is it that makes you want it over other OS's?
The Harmattan UI is killer, thats the first thing that stands out for me, then the integration of services like Skype, Twitter and Google made me happy. After that my first thought was the possible lack of apps, but there are already plenty of Qt apps for Symbian and Maemo, so its less of an issue for me if the apps and services i want are available. Looking at the apps built in out of the box, 95% of my needs are catered for and the homebrew community will be extremely active on this OS, so i...

How well would the N9 do in America if Nokia aggressively marketed it?
Even as an iPhone 4 user I have to say that the N9 looks cool, but it seems dead on arrival in the US because there's no carrier subsidy and it will only be sold in extremely limited quantities with no advertising push. It seems to be the ultimate "what might have been" phone. So hypothetically let's say Nokia made a deal with AT&T (no Verizon because of CDMA) and actually tried to market it in America. Would it outsell WebOS? Windows Phone? How well could it do? (Also the N9 page here needs...

Does anyone know the official name for this Nokia N9 slider phone?
Nokia just officially announced a Meego phone called the N9 few days ago ( http://www.engadget.com/2011/06/20/nokias-n9-offic... ) and I wanted to add it to the site, but it we already have this N9. Is Nokia just crazy naming two different devices the same thing or was there a name change at some point for the "original" N9?
