I forget that it is really a tiny Linux computer. It has great speakers for its size and with its kick stand, serves well as a news streamer, Pandora player, and pickup computer.

I bought one off CL a couple years ago when a guy typoed it for $100 less than everyone else in the previous few months.
Also, he "couldn't find any wireless" in Lower Manhattan. #whatdidyoujustsay? I knew someone would eventually port Android to the tablet and I eventually found the NITdroid project. The first attempt a year ago faltered at 1.1 and no sound, bluetooth or GPS. The new attempt seems to be meeting with more success, but I think the system resources are going to pose more of a problem than the porting effort. I don't use it for much anymore, except as a speakerphone for SIP...

What do you use your n810 for?
I bought one from Craigslist last sunday and I have been playing around with it, but I have yet to really see it be very useful. I watched some movies on it, installed rdesktop-cli (probably the most useful thing yet), got NITDroid...and for the last 3 days i haven't touched it. The browser it comes with is nice, but slow, the GPS is OK, but I have yet to get voice-directions without using Wayfinder. In other words, other than it's big screen I have found no good use for it. How do you...

Android on the N810
I picked up the N810 after reading about a relatively simple process to install Android on it, but I've had no luck. Anybody out there done this and offer any pointers?
