Opera released an unsupported Opera 10 for N8x0 and N900. It has quick scrolling, tap to zoom, and websites serve up the mobile version to it.
I think this greatly enhances the usability of the old N800 which is still paying dividends today. http://labs.opera.com/news/2010/05/11/

Does anyone still use it?
I was super excited back in 2007 when I bought the N800. It was a real game-changer, having the internet in the palm of your hand. Then I bought an ipod touch in mid 2008. It was a difficult decision at first, I felt guilty for abandoning the device. But then as I experienced the far superior browser experience on the ipod touch, I started using it less and less. The apps on the App Store only made the case stronger. It is now almost 3 months since I last switched on the N800, it lies abandoned...
