The original Nokia N-Gage was Nokia's forward thinking, often derided leap into the world of mobile gaming. The handset was updated to the N-Gage QD (Biggest selling points being a brighter backlight and no "side-talking") before the phone died a death. The brand lives on however, as a gaming platform available on many of Nokia's S60 smartphones.
