  • Reception and call quality I find that Nokia handsets do quite well in both urban and rural settings, which is quite important for my work. Great, but not HD quality sound. good
  • Display The Gorilla Glass is very classy. Whilst this animalized name might give you the impression that the glass is bulky or protruding - it is not the case at all. great!
  • Battery life The battery life is quite standard: it won't blow you away, but it won't let you down. Note: wireless charging will result in frequent, effortless charging good
  • Camera Pureview/low light camera is excellent. But, software could process some shots better - will apparently be remedied in patch Camera is good reason to buy great!
  • Ease of use If WP8 were a little better, this would get full marks. For instance, if you close a program and reopen it, it will not go to where you left it, bur reboot. good
  • Design and form factor I have black - it is all class. Very ergonomic, smooth and elegant. great!
  • Portability (size / weight) Its heavy, but: 1. I am a guy, this weighs as much as my old iphone with a case. The lumia 920 does not need a case. 2. I like the screen size for news. great!
  • Media support I can't complain. I have a macbook pro and the windows support on itunes works well. Nokia tunes is decent too. great!
  • Durability You won't need a case, this phone will go the distance. great!
  • Ecosystem (apps, accessories, etc.) I'm not a big app guys. I like shazam, my emails, browsing and the best app of all... a camera. 920 does this. Bonus: Charging Pillow & Office are nice too great!
Detailed review
In General: This is an excellent phone. It is classy, durable and has a great, albeit not perfect camera.

For those used to an iphone or who have a macbook:
I had an iphone 4 before this, which I loved at the time. However, the offerings from apple aren't as tempting as they used to be. Windows 8 phone support on my macbook pro is good too - it hooks right up to itunes; so don't be scared about making the switch since it won't be difficult hooking your phone to your computer.

For Photographers:
Due to all the above and my interest in photography, it almost was a no brainer to make the switch. I love my SLR, but hate having to carry around a point and shoot. This is a good upgrade on any camera phone. The software issues with the camera in well lit situations (hardly an issue at all, if anything I'm blowing it up).

Girls:
Don't be scared about its size. Most girls I know don't carry their phone in their pocket, but their hand bags. Its might be a little heavier than you are used to, but I don't really notice. You won't need a case on this.

For those who will be dealing with a cold winter:
Gloves and phone?! Awesome.

For those scared of Windows Tiles:
I thought this would be really cheesy. I originally only wanted the phone for the camera. Surprisingly, these are really COOL. They are a lot of fun, make for effective organisation and they update quite regularly with useful information.
