this phone could be the answer to the company's revival. Log onto: http://www.abhirdayaram.com/2012/06/23/rim-nokia-c... to find out more about this fight for survival.
In my opinion the Lumia 900 is still a must have device and is not warranted the downgrade it was given. You see the 900 is already at an insanely low price of $99 with so many value-adding features such as:
Free Navigation
Office Suite built in
Social Networking built in
Other app and service integration
Access to really great Nokia apps and enhancements for a continued period of time.
Top of the line technical support from Nokia (See the conflict when the Lumia was first released)
There is no doubt that the Samsung Galaxy S III has an impressive spec sheet. Even though the phone doesn't bring much new to the table, it appears that it will be competing with HTC's One X for the throne atop the Android mountain. One part of Samsung's new device has me less than impressed though. The device is a totally plastic, wholly generic, typically Samsung design. In the age of One S, X, Lumia 900, and the iPhone 4S, the look and feel of the Galaxy S III is out of step. Build quality...

No one would question that smart phones have become ubiquitous in the modern age. People who barely understand how Microsoft Word works have fairly high-tech devices in their pockets, and while not everyone who owns a smart phone uses it to its full potential, they still use it. But what do they use it for? Take a look around a restaurant or a store, and you will see a significant percentage of the people there with their eyes glued to their phones. Are they dialing a number or checking their...

The Lumia 900 has been on the market for a few weeks now. I can't help but have noticed that a number of folks have picked one up. Out of you new owners, how many of you are new to Windows Phone? How do you like it?
What are you missing from the operating system you came from?
Do you miss the Notification Drawer?
How do you feel about Windows Phone's multi-tasking system?
I have been unable to connect to gmail using my Lumia 900. It keeps giving me an error that says "m.google.com is unavailable" and "error code: 85010017". Any help?
Nokia is now offering the Lumia 900 for free (after the rebate) with a two-year AT&T contract, to both new and existing customers. The rebate is also available to customers who've already purchased the Lumia 900. The move comes after Nokia identified a software glitch that left some early customers unable to connect to the internet. If you have an affected phone, you can swap it at an AT&T store, or download a patch starting April 16th. We didn't encounter the problem on the Lumia 900 we...

Joshua Topolsky's quote from a recent Vergecast got me thinking about the "ideal phone." He describes it as "I want the One X internals, display, and camera in the body of the Lumia 900, running stock ICS."
Using just specs/aspects of phones currently on the market, what would your dream phone be?
So I was an early adopter of WP7. Ive had my Samsung focus since it was first released. I eventually moved to a Verizon iPhone 4s (I hated AT&T that much) but I unlocked my focus and use it on trips to Europe. Recently: the hombrew community was able to get some roms for the focus so I've been experimenting. I use my iPhone to make calls but I love WP too much to give it up. I want to see it on top. But here's my question: Microsoft has crippled hardware manufactures by only allowing...

We've been debating for months: at what point will there be a gdgt recommended Windows Phone? Well, today we finally have an answer to that question: the Lumia 900 is a worthy competitor to our other gdgt recommended smartphones (the iPhone 4S and Galaxy Nexus), the first Windows Phone device to receive our recommendation -- an designation we give to less than half of 1% of the products on gdgt. Here's the deal. By our measure, Windows Phone has been held back (at least in the US) by lacking a...

I walked into my AT&T store today and asked the salespeople to try it, and they handed me one of their personal L900's that they're testing before the launch. They let me use it for a good 20-30 minutes, so if anyone has questions about the device I'll do my best to answer them!
Hi, I have just seen on a UK cell phone website that Nokia's Lumia 900 is set be released here in the UK in the month of May. I am currently in the middle of my contract and am considering buying the device outright.
I have one question though - Shoudl I buy the Nokia Lumia 900, or should I just wait until the end of the year to see Niokia's Windows Phone 8 (codename Apollo)?
I think this is a good looking phone and a strong candidate for me if I were to jump ship from the iPhone in the not too distant future. I currently have an iPhone 4. Overall pretty happy with it. I don't see the 4S as 'enough' of an upgrade to go to (but whenever the next iPhone comes out, I'd probably be into it). So, I guess I'm a little hesitant still since I think I'm into it mostly since it's a new OS to learn & play with. Here's how I see it though. Any major points I'm missing? Pros:...
