I'm thinking of buying a new phone. The problem I am having is choosing between WP7 or ICS. I was thinking about the HTC One X or the Lumia 800. I know that WP7 has potential but considering that One X has a quad-core processor.
I have left iOS for Windows Phone, but I am experiencing one issue. I have used my iPhone as an alarm clock, and listened to podcasts in Instacast. Before I fall asleep I listen to podcasts, and set a timer to have it stop in fifteen, twenty minutes etc. So far in Windows Phone, I cannot replicate this feature. I tried an app called Sleep Timer, but it only could access my music, not the Podcasts! app. Does anyone know how to solve this?
I use an android phone, and I use the start feature heavily in the gmail client. If I get a windows phone, is the star feature part of the windows phone email client, and does it sync with gmail web interface?
The ones that came with the phone broke in two weeks, and up till now I've tried the aJays four, apple headphones and the adidas sennheiser 680i. Only thing working is the stop play button, mic and volume up or down dont work. I don't care about the volume, though it would be nice if they work, but need a pair with a mic that work. Purity headphones are the only ones nokia seems to provide, but they are not an option for me, hate in ear headphones or over the head. Just want regular headphones...
My iPhone 4 may be truly finished... I am a cash strapped uni student on Telus in Canada, so that is where the list comes from. I am bored of iOS, and not excited about the 4S. I love my Nokia N9 .. it's amazing device with very good OS .. but I also love Windows Phone, and when I saw Lumia 800 I thought about replacing it. Some friends told me not to do so, because it would be considered a downgrade .. so I'm confused .. what you guys think?
Internet Explorer in WP7 is exactly what it is expected to be. It's slow, some sites get loaded broken, and I hate the default search engine set to Bing.
Everyway I found was complicated, I also searched the marketplace but nothing. So if anyone know a fast and easy way to take a screenshot please let me know.
All the cellular band information looks to be compatible with AT&T, and my girlfriend really wants the blue one. I was hoping someone here could help me find somewhere to get this for her for Christmas.
