This is an attractive option if you're a fan of Windows Phone and great design. It's far from perfect, though, and Nokia's best is yet to come.

So it’s a solid phone, and an exemplar of how Windows Phone OS is supposed to look and act. Unfortunately, the Lumia 800 may be a “too little, too late” player in the fast-paced smartphone game.
Read the full review →In future models we would like to see a front facing camera, NFC and we'd love a dock. ... However, get past those quibbles and the Nokia Lumia 800 is a lovely phone. It's a phone that will evoke fond memories, a phone that makes using your phone fun, and a phone that you will be keen to show off...
Read the full review →Nokia has delivered some personalisation features for both professional and personal users, and the reuse of the N9 chassis design is a good move. The result is a solid smartphone that may help to increase the appeal of Windows Phone.
Read the full review →A brilliant camera and compelling design, paired with a usable and clever platform, add up to a handset that’s straightforward enough for first-time smartphone users but still has enough appeal for those more familiar with advanced phones.
Read the full review →Is the Lumia 800 worth the purchase? Yes, especially for new (or potential) consumers, since the handset packs some impressive features and is powered by Windows Phone Mango. The design is slick, the feel is soft and the experience is impressive.

And the best overall Windows Phone out there right now - lack of a front facing camera isn't important enough of an issue since there are basically no apps that use it right now. Power users might want to go for something like the Titan - but the Lumia is the better option...
Read the full review →My head won the battle with my heart over whether or not to get the dead-end Nokia N9 but when I saw that the wonderful hardware Nokia has designed for the N9 was going to be repurposed for use with WP 7.5 I was very excited as I was already a big fan of WP 7, though unable to commit to it as my...
Read the full review →I believe that Nokia has made a very great decision to partner up with Microsoft. Great phone that has a huge potential of competing with iOS & Android.
Read the full review →The Lumia promised a lot. It was Nokia's first Windows Phone. It was supposedly the first real Windows Phone if you believe Stephen Elop. It was probably the first interesting Windows Phone at any rate. So what happened? Released in late 2011 or early 2012 depending on the region (it was late...

Read the full review →I have published this on my blog (spencersumner.tumblr.com) and in the Microsoft Tribe of The Verge Forums. A little over two weeks ago I orphaned my wounded and disloyal iPhone 4, that I have had since it launched, for a Nokia Lumia 800 Windows Phone. I have been adamant that I love this...
Read the full review →Given the fanfare over the Elop Flip Flop and the fact that they've pretty much bet the farm on Windows Phone, I was eagerly expecting Nokia to bring their A+ game to the platform when news broke that they would be releasing a new handset. What I saw, after the smoke had cleared after launch...

Read the full review →I have been using a Lumia 800 for a few months now and bought it while using my iPhone 4S as an experiment. Was taken with the fluid and smooth WP7.5 way of doing things. Went back to iOS after a couple months feigning the greater number of apps, but find myself switching back. The main apps...
