  • Reception and call quality Suffered no problems with reception and call quality. Well placed arial means no 'anntennegate' issues. great!
  • Display A relatively high resolution display, with very respectable pixel density. However, poor viewing angles, and sometimes washed out colours let it down. so-so
  • Battery life This phone will need a charge every day, even if it isn't used very much. This is pretty standard with smartphones, but it is annoying. so-so
  • Camera Really annoying focussing issues with the camera button but pictures aren't terrible. Good 720p video recording. so-so
  • Ease of use Windows Phone 7 is slick and fast. Easy to use and functional. good
  • Design and form factor For a budget device, this feels solid in your hand, but is still very generic. good
  • Portability (size / weight) Comfortable weight, but quite thick. Nice, relatively small screen size. good
  • Media support Zune player is good, and supports plenty of formats. good
  • Durability Relatively durable, yet could easily smash if dropped from height. good
  • Ecosystem (apps, accessories, etc.) Windows Phone 7 misses out on many apps, and there are very few which are really worth having. poor
Detailed review
For the price you can get this phone at, it's a no brainer. It's fast, with a 1.4Ghz Snapdragon processor and runs the intuitive, while young, Windows Phone 7 well. The screen is dense, but other than that quite poor, and the camera is average, yet it functions how it's supposed to, and really well.

Highly recommended, if you don't worry about feeling slightly inferior to those Lumia 800 users.
