Nokia's first stateside Windows Phone Mango handset is an all around solid performer and for the budget price, it's a must-have.

Nokia's entry-level Windows smartphone (free with a two-year T-Mobile contract) has a reasonably sharp 3.7-inch screen, is able to run apps like Netflix and games like Angry Birds without stuttering, and supports T-Mobile's 4G network. However, it has relatively little internal storage (8GB), no front-facing camera for video chats, and its 4G support is limited to the slower version of T-Mobile's HSPA+ network. Other free phones available from T-Mobile include the Android-powered HTC Sensation, which has a better camera and larger screen. If you're a fan of Windows Phone 7, and want a free-with-contract phone, you may also want to consider the Samsung Focus Flash on AT&T, which has similar features, as well as a better display and a front camera.

For $50 after subsidy, you get a device that comes with the same SoC as the other higher-end WP7 devices, a 5 MP camera that produces great photos, and whose only caveat is 8 GB of NAND.

Read the full review →The $49.99 Nokia Lumia 710 is an excellent way to get the growing capabilities of a Windows Mango smartphone for a rock-bottom price. Though it isn't an Android superphone with a luscious AMOLED display, it's a practical device that covers all the mobile bases.
Read the full review →The Lumia 710 is budget-friendly, but it doesn't sacrifice build quality in any way... We think that this phone's attractive price tag will help compel mainstream buyers into Windows Phone 7, despite the fact that it's bolstered by fewer apps.
Read the full review →The Lumia 710 is a fine midrange smartphone, but it won't win any new converts over from Android or iOS.
Read the full review →The Nokia Lumia 710 might not be the most powerful phone, but its reliable performance, array of business and entertainment features and crisp display makes it a top choice for first time smartphone owners and those on a tight budget.
Read the full review →Nokia has played it safe here with a collection of hardware bits that not only fit the Microsoft set of parameters set out for devices running their mobile OS, but fit right inside what we’ve seen in the past for Nokia’s own line as well.

Read the full review →The Lumia 710 is a very nice entry level or transition Windows Phone. I can see it being very appealing to those just starting out with Windows Phones and are looking for a basic device. It won't be appealing to everyone but for those who take a chance on the Nokia they shouldn't be disappointed.
Read the full review →Although we would buy the Nokia Lumia 710 over the HTC Radar, it's overshadowed by the Nokia Lumia 800, which impressed us a lot more and makes the Nokia Lumia 710 feel more like its cheaper relative... you're better off saving up a little more money and buying the Nokia Lumia 800 instead.

Read the full review →Very nice phone with cheap price. I bought from Tmobile store with unlocked for 250. The design factor is very well and the weight is not heavy. For OS, I like the people the best. I added my google, windows live, and facebook account. All my friends are in my people hub now. Also the photos in my...

The Nokia Lumia 710 was the first Windows Phone I ever actually had a chance to spend any significant amount of time with, so I was pretty excited when the package arrived on my doorstep. This phone was Nokia’s first Windows Phone in the US, that alone was exciting. Our Thoughts In...
Read the full review →Maybe I'm a little biased, but the price (and the savings) make me look past some of the phone's short comings. Sure it doesn't have a front-facing camera but I've honestly been hard pressed to find a real need for one (I've Facetimed all of 4 times in the last year, Skype video chat even fewer...
