Nokia E71 vs Black Berry Bold 9700
Hello gdgt community, I am debating between the Nokia E71 and the Bold 9700. I've had my Nokia for about 8 months when I dropped it and the screen went black. I dropped it off at the store to get fixed, but, rather than go a few days without a phone I got a Bold from T-Moblie. My Nokia will be fixed in a few days and I can't decide which one I want to keep. Which would you choose? Thanks
Anyone unlocked an E71x and put Nokia firmware on it?
I hate AT&T. I don't think I can tolerate them much longer. I'd like to take my E71x to T-Mobile. Anyone done this? Or should I just suck it up and buy another phone?

Does this phone come with threaded SMS out of the box and if not are there any apps that make it possible?

Do not buy this defective phone!
After only 4 months of ownership, the E71 I had given my wife cooked itself and melted & fused the SIM card inside. This was done by just charging the phone with the included charger. The phone got so hot, it fused itself to the nightstand and left a charred spot too! (See attached flickr photos) There is obviously something wrong with the phone. iLocalis for iPhone: Any similar app for Nokia S60?
Jailbroken iPhones have a sweet commercial app called iLocalis (http://www.ilocalis.com) that uses the onboard GPS or A-GPS to map your location in realtime. This is a jailbreak app, so is able to run in the background. Does anybody know of a similar app for Nokia S60 3rd Ed.phones like the E71?

Firmware 300.21.012 out on NSU

Problem with Digit hotkeys in app's
In many programms digit keys was a control. For example in default web browser: 3 — previous page 5 — view open windows 9 — go to URL * — zoom in # — zoom out But if change keyboard layout you can't use it. Need go to text input mode and change the layout. How can fix it? i Want to this things work in all layouts

Looks, performance, and stamina...Anyone else in love?
Seriously...Other than probably my Dell 3007WFP-HC monitor, this is one of the very few gadgets I've thoroughly enjoyed using day in and day out for the last 8 months. I guess the only issue is that when you've experienced such stunning highs, it's hard to see what more could be done in a way.
