Detailed review
Initial impressions mean a lot, and the Wii U gives a good one. Right out of the box my premium black system came with a lengthy and beefy HDMI cable. Unfortunately, there was an hour long update on power up (fun killer). Graphics and sound are on par with my PS3. So far I'm pleasantly satisfied, but not thrilled.
