Detailed review
I've had a Wii since the day it was released in American, and I've been nothing but pleased with it. The multiplayer aspects are second to none, especially because I have real-world friends who want a fun, easy-to-play experience, like Smash Brothers or the Price is Right. I'm not expecting heavy networking or ultra-violent killfests, nor do I want those things. The Wii is simple, fun and perfect for me. The software works as advertised, and it's fun to go into a game of Sonic 2 just for shiggles. I highly recommend it for anyone, casual or hardcore. Fun is fun.
