If you don't mind the dearth of HD graphics, the Nintendo Wii's combination of motion-sensitive controllers, included Wii Sports titles, and emphasis on fun gameplay make the ultra-affordable console hard to resist.

There's no small amount of love and nostalgia for Nintendo and everything it does -- especially when most of what Nintendo does is upgrade its consoles and re-release the same kinds of games. The Wii represented hope for the future of gaming, but as it turns out that vision has gotten lost in the mix as game consoles have adopted far more advanced features, graphics, and motion capturing-controllers (like the Kinect).

If you have $250 and a group of friends at the ready, or if you're looking to buy an affordable, fun console for yourself or your kids, get a Wii.
Read the full review →The Nintendo Wii is a fun, engaging, wildly innovative game console that's dramatically different from the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3, and way more affordable, too.
Read the full review →While those who care a lot about graphics and eye candy will be turned off by the last-gen looks of the system, people who are simply interested in a good time will find a lot to like here. From hardcore gamers to people who have never picked up a controller, this is truly something new.
Read the full review →While it's relatively inexpensive and perhaps even more innovative than competing consoles, the Nintendo Wii is best for families with small children, or those who like to game in groups. For everyone else, be an adult and get an adult console.
Read the full review →Nintendo has shown that you don't need to be big, brash and powerful to have a good time. The graphics might not be up to what gamers will be expecting for a next generation of console, but the gameplay and its interactivity will have you jumping around the living room for joy.
Read the full review →I encourage you to go out and get one, even if you're also planning to buy Microsoft's Xbox 360 or Sony's PlayStation 3. Just be careful, because Wii is physical.
Read the full review →A new type of gaming system has hit the industry. If the Xbox 360 and PS3 are Lamborghinis, the Wii is a Mini Cooper. It will never win a speed race. It will never be the flashiest. But it's something that appeals to people who might not take notice otherwise - and it's a heck of a lot of fun.
Read the full review →This game system seems strangely outdated already. They obviously rushed it out on the market considering the add on that they now sell for the controller. Even after the fact not all the new games support the new controller. The graphics, although meant to be humble make it seem as though they...
Read the full review →When we first got the Wii, it took our family by storm. Not since the NES first came out have I seen a game console for the whole family, not just a gamer. The physicaly input form the motion sensing controllers gets your Lays filled butt off the couch and gets you moving around and burning off...
Read the full review →I like the product because it is fun to play in a family but if u r a serious gamer i would rather choose a ps3 or pc
Read the full review →A great family friendly console but getting a bit long in the tooth without HD but can get more out of it by softmoding it : )
Read the full review →Worst console on the market. Having to release Wii Motion Plus is embarrassing. Not releasing quality games is worse though. Outside of about 20 titles, the Wii is just plain garbage. A huge money maker for Nintendo, yet an embarrassment to the industry. Microsoft and Sony are trying to...
