Detailed review
The Gamcube was an excellent console with loads of fantastic games. The control was easy to use and felt great in your hand. The console itself was worth buying for Super Smash Bros Melee, Mario Kart Double Dash and Zelda. But it could compete with the PS2 and its' fan base. It had many benefits over the PS2 too with Four ports for controllers and was very portable compared to the original PS2. Now that the Wii is out and is backwards compatible with GC games, more people are realizing what good games the GC had and are now buying more GC games. It was a great console which I will always prefer to than the PS2.
