  • Game library It was pretty good for it's time. good
  • Graphics Far better than the PS2 graphics, and probablt even the Xbox graphics. great!
  • Controller(s) Nintendo seem to have always liked controllers with insanely awkward button layouts, but it's comfortable and you get used to it. great!
  • Design and form factor Nice small device, handy to transport (admittedly not as handy as the PS2 slim) good
  • Other features (media, online, etc.) The one main drawback is the discs. If only they had been full size, it could have potentially been a CD player and even a DVD player. Shame :( good
  • Noise Sure, it's not silent like the N64, but it's pretty quiet. great!

Can your slim PS2 function as a monitor stand? No! See, the GameCube has many post-mortem uses! :P twitpic.com­/501cz9 (mine isn't dead, it still runs, but it's handier here :P)
It was an awesome console, and if only Nintendo had built across instead of up, it could have had CD and DVD capability, which would have made them the king of the 2000-2002 console wars. It's a great shame, as the Wii is nowhere near as cool as this was :/
