This is the perfect camping/travelling device. Sure, its not as technically impressive as the more recent devices, but it does have 3 very important advantages:
>a vast and diverse game library filled with classic titles and tetris
>the ability to use AA batteries, important when your going long periods without a power-point
>a backlight
Yes, it is the last point that is important as it means you can game at night with impunity with many games made for the gameboy colour.
