I never wanted an SP until I saw this thing. My mouth dropped. Honestly, I know it's just a skin but it's awesome. There's just something about playing mario with red buttons that feels so 'proper' I noticed you can still get them at Amazon. Any chance you think they'll be worth anything one day? I kept the box just in case..

I know no one buys them anymore but I never heard an official EOL either. GameBoy.com is still up but Amazon doesn't carry it.

Somehow I managed to collect a stack of these over the years. I got the first GBA for Christmas, then I bought a used red SP, bought my friend's NES theme SP, found a metallic pink one at a garage sale, and later a black one with the brighter screen. So other than play Four Swords and Crystal Chronicles, has anybody found an amazing use for this system? Re-purpose it? Hack it?
