The DS light is the standard by which I judge all other mobile electronics and to this day I have found none better. The software is bare bones. But considering when it was released that is understandable. But coming from a first gen Game Boy Advanced was like night and day. I have spent more time... Read the full review →

Would be better if the screen below was capacitive but I know they prefer the stylus method. Would be more awesome if this had better wii integration rather than making a wii u controller but of course horse power is no comparison with the two. Double screen is cool though some games makes it feel... Read the full review →
This is my favorite toy. The battery lasts forever (15 hours or so?) and I love that you can just plug it in to recharge. There are so many games out there for this...you just have to hunt them down as many are obscure or only sold in certain places. Also, you can play games from around the world on... Lets face it we're all kids at heart and the games appeal to that inner child. sometimes silly, often times engaging but always amusing games make the NDS a great purchase. With easy to find flashcarts that allow one to download roms to play and huge micro sd cards that allow for a huge library... Read the full review →

The DS, Nintendo's current handheld console, has one of the biggest, if not the biggest, game libraries of any handheld console. There are over 1,500 games for the DS as of the date of this review. Graphics are good, but nowhere near the level of the PSP's graphics. Still, they're a major... Read the full review →

I have owned all the versions of the Nintendo DS, and used them rigorously. They are durable consoles. They have one of the biggest libraries for games. The battery life is great, especially the DS Lite. The Graphics are fine, especially for the time period. Maybe today's standards are different,... Read the full review →
Compact, portable and is in my pocket or bag on every trip (I have to take it out of my bag when school is in session, do I teach or play games? Sometimes a tough decision. *wink*). Yes, there is a lot of "shovelware" and games for children, but that's probably true for PCs too.... Read the full review →

After playing on a borrowed one I decided to purchase my own. I have about 10 games and 5 I play consistently. I like that it is portable and can fit into my purse. It starts fairly quickly which makes it easy to use while waiting for the bus or train. The color options are pretty neat too, I chose... Read the full review →
With a slick new design, brighter screens, and a growing library of fun and innovative games, the Nintendo DS Lite is an impressive improvement over the original DS.
The new, improved Nintendo DS Lite is worth the cost of the upgrade for fans of the original DS portable gaming device. It retains all the qualities that made the DS so much fun, and the bright new screens make a significant difference in the look of the games.
