Sound issues in Mario Kart 64
On my girlfriend's copy of Mario Kart 64 I've noticed that when we play 3-4 player games, only the second player gets full sound effects, such as the kart engine, hitting other players with shells and other sound effects. That is also on her 64. I always thought that it was just because running 3-4 players was too much for the system to do with full sound. But on my N64, and copy of Mario Kart 64, I haven't noticed this at all. Has anyone else experienced this?

What color is your N64?
I got my N64 many years after its release (just a couple years ago actually) and I wanted to get a blue one cuz its my fave color. N64 on LCD tv
Has anyone found a way to play their N64 on the newer generation of HD tv's without it looking like total garbage? I only have an LCD TV and when I hooked up my old N64 the resolution is terrible, the colors are bad, and it just looks like crap overall. I will say the sound is still pretty good, but the video almost makes it unplayable. N64 Emulators
I currently use sixtyforce for mac, so I can still fix my occasional ocarina or majora's addiction. The emulator is pretty is clunking and I do not like the way it saves your game modules. Any other good emulators for the mac floating around out there? Which one do you use? Why?

The console that started nintendos faultering
I mean they 100% recovered with the wii, but as far as consoles are concerned (not handhelds), this was the beginning of their troubles, yeah? The same era as the psx, the prequel to the gamecube, just seems like this big ugly box wasn't the most thought out idea.

I still play mine every now and then. I was wondering if anyone else does too. I sat down and played Super smash bros., and Super mario 64 for hours the other day. They are still pretty fun, the graphics aren't great, but still.

So many awesome games....
I remember so fondly of playing my Nintendo 64 with my older brother when I was younger. A few months ago, I dusted it off again and it still worked! I looked through some of the games that I had and remember some of the really fun games I used to play like Mario Kart 64, Super Mario 64, Mario Party 3, Pokemon Snap! (ha ha). So, what are all of your favorite Nintendo 64 games and do you still love to play your Nintendo 64?
