I'm moving to Australia in a month, what can I do to make the move easier for my tech?
Like what the title says, I'm moving to Australia for work in July and I have a bunch of tech (mostly game related) that I'm worried will become useless in Australia.
If I get an NTSC to PAL converter for my PS2 and Dreamcast (I still have a couple games I gotta finish), will I be sacrificing picture quality?Since the PS3 and Xbox 360 both use HDMI, can I use it on a PAL TV or will I have to get a monitor with HDMI ports? When will the Nintendo 3DS in PURPLE launch in UK?????
I have an 8 yr old daughter who is desparate for the new purple 3DS, however it has only just launched in the USA and would be costly to get one from there for her as the games are region-locked. Can anyone help????

What happened to CTR 002–008?
Last night Nintendo officially announced their add-on pad for the 3DS, which adds an extra circle pad to the unit, identical to the one that already exists on the left side. It also has R1 and R2 buttons.

Anyone having hardware issues with their 3DS system?
Just sent my Cosmo Black unit back to Nintendo for a free repair. Apparently Street Fighter on this portable may have been little too much for it physically, because while playing I heard something pop while trying to perform the Shoryuken motion. The Analog stick pretty much froze in position after that. I managed to free the stick but afterwards it felt like it couldn't in 1/4 cardinal directions which would vary from moment to moment. How many Street Pass encounters have y'all had?
I live in Houston which is a large city but not really that urban like NY or SF. I've gotten 9 street pass encounters and they're all from the university I attend. How many street passes have y'all encountered? I'd really like to know for those that live in really urban places.

Why in the WORLD did Nintendo not make the bottom screen capacitive?
Was it just for backwards compatibility? it drives me friggin crazy. I feel like I'm living in the 90s when I have to pull out the stylus.

Am I the only one who bought the 3DS solely to play Ocarina of Time?
I'm sure I'll buy a couple games for it here and there over time. But what really guided my finger to click "buy" on Amazon was the insatiable desire to play the revamped portable version of my favorite game of all time. Anyone else in the same camp?

How long is the battery life on the Nintendo 3DS?
I've been hearing that's it can be as short as 2 hours. Has this been the case for anyone out there?

I was prompted to update last night to version 1.1.0-1U and now my 3ds freezes consistently when I either press close or the home button in the friend code app.
Specifically, it freezes when the homescreen transition screen comes up. Also, I consistently can't find wifi or it hangs in looking for a network even though there's string wifi around me. Anyone else having these problems? I didn't have these problems before the update.

What launch games are y'all getting? I have mine pre-ordered but I haven't reserved any launch games since none of them attract me.
I'm waiting for the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 and I've actually pre-ordered it already.
