I have owned this camera for about 6 months now and I'm in love with it! For the price range, I find it very hard to beat. It offers many of the features of the lower-end professional cameras but also has very intuitive automatic features which makes this camera excellent for novice users. The ergonomics of this camera is great! In my opinion, much more comfortable than the comparable Cannon units. The build quality is solid and even though I have not dropped it yet, I'm sure it would hold up quite fine. Unfortunately, now I have D300s envy :)
