A very good entry-level dSLR, the Nikon D3100 delivers excellent photo quality in a body that's streamlined for experienced photographers, but relatively unintimidating for the less advanced. Its only weakness is performance; though solid, it nevertheless lags behind the competition.

Read the full review →Coming from a Sony a200 DSLR, I didn't think that low-end DSLRs could pull off such incredible image quality, especially in low light. This thing isn't a mini-D7000, but for the money it's capable of capturing great images.

Read the full review →Great camera for the price, albeit I am not crazy about the kit lens but it will do. This camera responds very well to using good glass. I picked up a 35 1.8 Nikon and the images are incredible.
