Looking for the best camera bag that can fit a Nikon d300 as well as the Nikon 24-70mm lens, and possibly a flash. Also it would be nice if it could fit a 17" macbook pro, but thats not entirely necessary. I will be traveling around Vietnam + Japan, and i am looking for something that can hold my gear and keep it relatively safe during the day. Thanks!
In the near future, I'd like to put together a time lapse video over the course of an entire day (12 - 15 hours with photos every 30 seconds or so). The batteries for my DSLR will probably last a total of around 800 shots or so, which is only around 6.5 hours or so maximum. If I wanted to power a DSLR for a long time (let's say I'm near a plug that I can run an extension cord to), what sort of options do I have? Anyone have experience with this?
I'm interested in finally picking up an Eye-Fi, primarily for use with my Canon S90 point and shoot. However, I'd like to have it serve dual purposes and be able to use in my DSLR in a pinch. Has anyone tried this? I'd imagine an adapter, plus the larger size of the DSLR, would significantly impede wifi signals. But it seems intriguing if it works properly!
The D300 is Nikons flagship APS-C DSLR, and was introduced in August 2007. Since its release it has received critical acclaim and has won numerous awards globally.
The D300 has a 12.3 (effective) MP sensor with an ISO range of 200-3200 and is capable of shooting speeds of 6fps and upto 8fps with the extended battery pack.
Other specs include a 51-sensor Auto focus system, a VGA resolution 3in screen for playback and Live view, options for recording pictures as JPEG, TIFF, 12-bit or 14-bit NEF and a claimed battery life of 1800 shots.
