Detailed review
It's a very cool and powerful gadget for its size. It's pretty small, thus esy to carry, comfortable to hang from the belt etc., and it's robust. Mine has fallen from my hands a couple of times, but everything was ok, no damage caused.
As for the technical stuff: It's very good for a beginner-intermidiate level. One can learn a lot about apperture and shutter speed. It's a good idea to practice theory on a not-that-expensive DSLR in the beginning. 8 seconds shutter speed is more than enough for some night photography too.
The only disappointing thing about this camera is that the high ISO modes are too noisy, so one should keep it locked at ISO100.
All in all, this camera is a very good choice for those of you wanting to learn more about photography
