Netgear's WGT624 is a good choice for advanced users but may be too complicated for those new to networking.

This was my first and current wireless router at my house. The physical setup was very simple and quick. Logging into the router to configure via web browser was not however. Being a techy person in my house, I was able to figure out how to do all the setting, but I can see the average person...

I thought it was my internet provider went crazy but after a detail research on Google I found this router is not reliable. Now, saw the comment from chinster I'm more convinced I had the same problems, connection drops all the time especially if one of us using wireless connection then...

I've had this wireless router for several years now and it's been a really dependable one. On any given day I'll have a mix of Linux, OS X, and Windows desktop PCs and laptops connecting to it both wired and wireless, along with an Android phone -- I've rarely had any problems with it.
