This thing is such a piece of trash. Regardless of which OS I use on it, I am constantly having IP address assignment problems.
Most of the time I have to restart the router. Next router is not a netgear, guaranteed.

idk if its my dsl modem, this thing, or the ISP but ever since i got this, my internet has had soooo many problems.
of course it could just be because vista sucks. haha

Bad Caps
I'm on my 3rd WGR614 at the moment due to capacitors popping in the first 2, anyone else had this problem? If you can hear a high pitched whisling/whining noise coming from your router then more than likley a capacitor has popped. The unit still seems to function correctly but the noise is too much to bare after a while.
