Assuming that NETGEAR doesn't mess up the implementation, the WNDR3700 should put them back into the game for dual-band draft 802.11n routers. Simultaneous dual-band operation, USB drive file sharing (albeit slow) and guest wireless access are the main draws. quote

It wasn’t much of a contest: Netgear’s WNDR3700 V1 retained its crown as our Best of the Best router with spectacular TCP through-put, a strong feature set, and an even stronger price/performance ratio.

The Netgear RangeMax WNDR3700 offers a wide range of features that experienced users will find appealing. However, we found data speeds to be the slowest of the three units on test, making it less than ideal for use with busy households looking to share a connection.

I first grew interested in this router after seeing it show up on Newegg's periodic e-mail/circular. I didn't really have a need for one since my current router worked relatively well. Prior to the Netgear, I owned the Belkin N1 Vision. I picked up the Belkin about two years ago --...

After weeks of delays I finally got my WNDR3700 from Dell, for ~$140, although I've seen it slightly cheaper lately. Works as advertised, fast. I'm using it with two 11n macs and a Linksys WGA600N to bridge a desktop via 11n. Throughput has been less than the advertized 300Mbps but its...

I just bought mine today. The setup from unboxing to surfing took well under ten minutes and the performance has been flawless - I am using it right now to post these quick comments. I use a Macbook Pro, but this router seems very happy with me as an Apple customer. The speed over wireless is...

I would have given it 5/5 in reliability because it has been flawless, but ssh connections sometimes die if I leave them idle.
