Rating
- Ease of use Cake to set up and configure. No CD required for moderately experienced geeks.
- Speed / throughput Great speeds over N, but no gigabit ethernet.
- Configurability / networking features Offers a guest network option with isolation which is great for older B and G devices like Nintendo DS and PSP.
- Reliability Daily drop out of internet. The wifi signal cuts in half and the internet connection cuts out, then comes back after 10 minutes.
- Range The range is perfect for my two story apartment, but the signal isn't near as strong as my old Belkin G+MIMO.
- Durability Fairly solid construction, stands vertical nothorizontal. I'm fine with this, but the base seems a little flimsy. The weight of CAT5 cables is too much for it.
Detailed review
Purchased as a replacement for my reliable, but aging, Belkin G+MIMO it offered quick setup, fantastic features and was initially very reliable. Over time it has become less so, I'm afraid. I wish I could say that this is just the result of aging hardware, but I've had it less than six months.
good review!
