I purchased 2 of these thermostats. I have never installed a thermostat before but the Nest instruction video and manual made it very easy. You literally hook up 4 wires and you are good to go. I think the biggest decision you have to make is determining how you want to look installed on your wall. I didn't have to drill any holes or anything. It fit nicely in the existing setup.

It's probably the best thermostat on the market. It's very simple to install and setup. I love the new features that just came out too. The iPad, iPhone, and website applications are very straight forward and easy to use. I love that you can view how much time your a/c has been running during the day.

I was very surprised at how accurate it learned when we like the a/c on. We rarely have to override the system which was a nightmare before the NEST.
