  • Design and form factor They've packed a ton of stuff in a tiny space. The screen allows for a multitude of options while the ring allows for simple uncluttered control. great!
  • Ease of use The setup and daily use is great, however the more in depth features require one of the mobile apps to work well. You can do it on the device, but it's tiring. good
Detailed review
I’ve now had my Nest Learning Thermostat for a month.  And I love it.  You might scoff at paying $250 for something as simple as a thermostat, but the features, control, and beauty of it makes it a great investment.  I’ve already saved on my heating costs by having it since I rarely touched my old one other than the occasional increase in temp when I was home unexpectedly. I loved it so much I typed over 2000 words explaining it all over at tasel.wordpress.com/2012/04/03/my-first-month-with... (yes shameless plug but this space is way too small to fit everything) . I've told my friends and family about it and will be getting it for my parents for their anniversary. Trust me... Well worth the $250 investment.
