I was thinking about having a gps as a gift for my mom. She is 65, never had one, does not use a cellphone or a computer. She only drives short distances that she has known for years and does not venture beyond that, partly because of the unknown. I'm thinking she now has time to go longer distances. To start - I'm not sure this is good idea so I have two questions: 1. Does anyone have experience with novices and their reactions to a gps? 2. Can you recommend a gps that is easy to use? I'm...

Is there a way to start with the street and then choose city/zip or whatever. I have been sitting for 10 minutes trying to choose the right city/zip to be able to find the street I'm looking for. really annoying and unpractical. Any tips here? I actually have miodel 7110 but I guess its basicly the same? Thanks /jakob
