away in the back of the Butterfly and the USB ports located in the Angellow's stand) but the choice of color and graphics. Butterflies and angels--creatures that fly, with a delicate nature. Not something you see in gadgets much. I suppose it strikes me as very feminine, which is probably why my eye was drawn to them. It's definitely a change from the usual "products for women must be pink" stance, and an odd choice to make when showcasing what are essentially prototypes that...

I've even got the older single core version, but it's still been an outstanding home file and media server for a year and a half now, pretty much running 24/7. Keep in mind I'm not doing HD or 3D here, just DVD ISOs, avi, and mp3, along with printing and light surfing. Two1.5 TB hard drives, 2GB ram, and Windows 7 Ultimate Great little machine.
>:( The grippy feet fell off the back because I actually took it places, which then led to it shorting out and rebooting if I set it down too hard because of a big plastic nub on the bottom. It also had problems going to sleep, often remaining in a state of limbo until I touched the mousepad. This eventually killed it, since I put it to sleep on my floor and went to bed. I woke up the next morning to find that it had "limboed" the whole night and burned out the GPU. Three months, this...
With the HP Slate looking like a dud (netbook sans keyboard), it seems the most usable tablet not called iPad will be one of this crop: - Dell Streak 7 & 10 inch versions - Notion Ink Adam - WePad - Unnamed MSI Tegra 2 powered tablet Votes on which of those will actually turn out to be the most useful device? The WePad looks like it's heading the way of the HP Slate after their Windows-7-video-playing-demo. And, in my opinion, the interface looks like crap. The Notion Ink Adam has the most...

http://www.engadget.com/2010/01/28/msis-10-inch-ta... http://www.engadget.com/2010/01/08/msi-shows-off-1... Well it has just about the same specs plus some. With the benifit that it runs Android it has a tegra 2 chip in it, which if the supposed rumors about the A4 they are equivalent. In the pictures I saw of it, it looks like it supports SD cards which means swappable memory up to 64gb's. On the plus...

I've been running one of these little wonders for over a year 24/7 as a home file/print server with 2GB of RAM two 1.5TB hard drives. I just upgraded the operating system from WinXP Pro to Win7 Ultimate. While I wasn't sure about how the drivers would be handled, Windows 7 installed most if not all of them itself. I'm lucky in that my Dell Mini 9 netbook shares much of the same hardware so I was able to use the available chipset and HD Audio drivers to round out the install. This is...

Comments, anyone? I'm planning to buy this in 2 weeks, stocks will be available in my country on the 8th of January. Are there any news if it has a 3g modem or is the hidden sim slot usable? Previously I was looking at the older u210 but I believe that the HD3200 graphics processor of the u230 will outperform the u210, am I correct? For 25,000PHP (550USD) any competing notebook for its specs? ***sorry for my bad English.
Not all of AE2220 WIND TOP come with ION GPU. As said here, http://gadgetmix.com/index/msi-ae2220-affordable-a... AE2200-01SUS and AE2200-14SUS use Intel G45 chipset instead of ION
2.1 ghz dual core with 4 gigs of ram and a bluray drive pushed to a 768p screen. I'm thinking of going over seas next summer and want something that can do it all. This has a bluray drive and enough hdd to store some less than legal material. I wonder if anyone had used a machine with similar specs or from the same manufacturer and could weigh in on whether this machine would keep me busy during down times(aka plane flight) and if it's rugged enough for the traveling. Bythe way the MSI...

Has anyone got the Wiimote working on the Wind running Windows 7? Windows detects it (as does WiiMoteConnect) but all four lights flash constantly and it doesn't seem to work in GlovePie. I'm using the default MS drivers/stack.
I just purchased an MSI Wind. I have yet to receive it. To all current users of this netbook - what do you think about it? how does it work? what are some good accessories for it? and has anyone hackintoshed it? thanks
I'm not quite sure when my happy little hackintosh lost its pep and vim, but somewhere in the 10.5.6/10.5.7 timeframe I started getting Webkit crashes and other unpleasantries. Has anyone else seen 'mysterious' issues crop up?
I love this notebook, but the X340 is booting through the BIOS very slowly, it takes more than 7 seconds just to go through the screen with the MSI logo. Anyone knows how to speed this up?
The store links are bad on the MSI Wind U120-001US page. I clicked on the links because the MSI Wind 120 was $134.99. I got to Amazon and it was "Hoover U5491900 Windtunnel Anniversary Bagged Upright Vacuum Cleaner". http://gdgt.com/msi/wind/u120-001us/ MSI Wind U120-001US is listed as "from $129.00", is it really that cheap.
