The end user experience isn't nearly where it needs to be, and until Google paints its tablet strategy and software picture more clearly, we'd suggest a wait-and-see approach. Honeycomb and the Xoom are spectacular -- unfortunately they're a spectacular work in progress.

The Xoom's spec sheet is enough to make any tablet tremble, but the price is high, the design is bulky, and Google still has some work to do before its tablet software experience is as fleshed out and intuitive as Apple's. quote

The Xoom and Honeycomb are a promising pair that should give the iPad its stiffest competition. But price will be an obstacle, and Apple isn’t standing still.

Read the full review →Frankly, there's no way the Xoom could live up to everything it needs to be. It's not even done yet, really. It has problems. But it's still very good. It's the first non-iPad tablet worth buying. And it'll get better.
Read the full review →We’re impressed by the XOOM, and by Honeycomb. Neither feels like a compromise ... the gap between Android and iOS has narrowed drastically. The XOOM may only be the first Honeycomb slate, but it’s a strong start to what’s going to be a fiercely competitive race.
Read the full review →We've been craving this kind of fast and powerful, ready-for-the-tablet age device. Hoping the apps appear quickly, the Xoom is fast enough to keep pace and gets our nod over other Android tablets.
Read the full review →If you don’t care about ease of use and you want a tablet with cutting edge power, a flexible OS, and integrated features that rival iOS, the XOOM is hands-down the best tablet on market today.
Read the full review →I very pleased with the XOOM, I really like it, but I am an early adopter willing to put up with a not ready for prime time experience. Google did a great tablet focused experience. The applications are starting to trickle out.
Read the full review →Overall this is a great product. I love the fact that I now have Android in tablet form with Honeycomb. My only complaints would be that when an app crashes, the whole device seems to crash hard (in my experience). I can totally leave it for a few days without serious battery loss, but I...
Read the full review →the xoom is heavy with no so great screen resolution but the features and the construction materials are great.
Read the full review →I love my Xoom Wifi, some may say its chunky and the screen is lacking. Well the latter may be true compared to an IPS, but the design is amazing. It is sturdy, and I feel like I won't break it if I hold it a wrong way(cough galaxy tab 10.1 cough). Other than that, it is the first tablet to...

Read the full review →As a tablet I feel the Xoom is quite good. Honeycomb may not be perfect, but it's still a great OS, and one that I'm happy to use and see evolve. The Xoom is fast, built well, and good looking. It feature everything a tablet may need, such as front and rear facing cameras, 3G (and later 4G)...
Read the full review →Not everyone seems to be a fan of the Xoom, but I've been able to replace my laptop on many occasions with just this and a bluetooth keyboard. It's pretty lightweight for what it is, it's snappy and the battery out lasts pretty much every device that I own. The ability to attach extra storage...
